Comparison between HiPP Dutch Stage 2 and Lebenswert Stage 2
HiPP and Lebenswert are two famous organic infant formula manufacturers from Europe. Their products are EU certified organic, and in the case of Lebenswert, the formulas also carry Bioland certification.
If you have a growing baby and are looking for a suitable organic formula for your child, then HiPP Dutch Stage 2 and Lebenswert Stage 2 are great options. We have come up with a comparison between the two formulas so that you can pick the right formula for your little one.
Age Group – Both the HiPP Stage 2 Dutch and Lebenswert Stage 2 are suitable for children from six months onwards.
Certifications – HiPP Dutch Stage 2 is EU certified organic. Lebenswert Stage 2 is also EU certified organic, but it also has the Bioland Association's certification. Bioland certification means that 100% of the ingredients used in the production of the formula are organic.
Prebiotics and Probiotics – This is another significant difference between the two formulas. HiPP Stage 2 Dutch contains both prebiotics and probiotics. The same is not true for Lebenswert Stage 2 as the formula includes neither prebiotics nor probiotics in its composition.
Starch – Both, Lebenswert Stage 2 and HiPP Stage 2 Dutch are free of starch.
Maltodextrin – Lebenswert Stage 2 contains maltodextrin. The HiPP Stage 2 Dutch version is free of maltodextrin, just like HiPP Dutch Stage 1 and the HiPP Dutch Stage 3 formulas.
Palm Oil – Palm oil is present in a lot of infant baby formulas these days. HiPP Stage 2 (Dutch) and Lebenswert Stage 2 both have palm oil in their ingredients.
This is a comparison of the two formulas and their ingredients, and now it is up to you to decide which formula to pick for your little one. Be advised that it is always advisable to consult a pediatrician before moving your child to formula milk, organic or otherwise.
